Katie Price has had to endure two more Bushtucker trials in the I’m A Celebrity jungle – not to mention a tongue-lashing from Kim Woodburn.
The TV star and glamour model was on the verge of tears as she was put through a live bushtucker trial called Jungle School – but overcame visible anxiety to win nine stars – after achieving six stars in the bottle task.
And earlier she came under fire from cleaning guru Kim, who claimed the glamour girl was being hypocritical for claiming she had entered the jungle to “escape”, while really revelling in the attention.
Kim said: “Look at her little face – ‘I’ve come in here because I want some peace.’ You know full well you’ve got 10 to 12 million people watching every night and you know, madam, you’ll be all over the papers every day. Now stop it. Stop your nonsense.”
Later Katie said the tirade had not affected her. She told chef Gino D’Acampo: “Of course. I’m like a robot. You can fire any bullets you like at me. It went (over my head)… I actually wanted to laugh because I thought it was funny.”
She had another fearsome battle when she faced 60,000 cockroaches, 10,000 crickets and two buckets of mealworms in her second Bushtucker Trial of the series, which crawled over her as she answered a series of questions.
Katie eventually collected six stars to win food for her fellow campers.
But she seemed less confident as she was again picked by the public for the live trial.
Guided round a series of “school lessons” in front of the other 10 contestants, Katie managed to win nine meals for camp.
