Model Katie Price went head to head with TV presenter Kim Woodburn in a bushtucker trial on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
The pair had to eat vile jungle delicacies including kangaroo anus and testicles, grubs and cockroaches.
Woodburn was reluctant to tuck in, branding hosts Ant and Dec “ratbags” for making her eat the food.
She said: “If you were gentlemen you’d go in there and eat it yourself. I’m old enough to be your mother you know. Where’s the respect?”
But Price appeared confident and said it was like a trial she did when she first appeared on the show in 2004. She said: “What I’m going to try and think is it’s all edible. So I’m going to try and eat as much as I think I can eat.”
Despite that Price struggled, spitting out fish eyes and refusing to eat the testicles, and it was Woodburn who emerged victorious with five stars for her camp.
Earlier, one of Price’s fellow contestants, property expert Justin Ryan, said he thought it was “a bit bloody unfair” she kept being nominated to take part in the trials. He said: “She feels demoralised because day in day out the British public are voting to see her squirm.”
Another contestant, snooker player Jimmy White, praised the model who braved her ordeal wearing a fluorescent bikini.
He said: “Katie looked like she was going for an audition for a Bond movie this morning. She looked fantastic. She would make a good Bond girl.”
Earlier, Price discussed her ex-husband Peter Andre who she met on the show in 2004 and said she wanted to meet another “soulmate”. She said: “It’s so sad, really. The whole situation. It’s so sad. When you split up with someone it’s not just them you leave; it’s the family.”
