Something to Learn From The England Football disaster
I’m not really a fan of football, as I would much rather spend that 90 minutes investing in my future goals and aspirations.
I’m sure millions of UK football followers will completely disagree with me and would rather spend their time in public places watching big screens, or sat in a bar, or even in your own home.
As far as I’ve witnessed, England have performed in a dire and inexcusable way. Scraping through two draws, a win and a embarrassing loss against Germany with their 4 goals to our 1.
One thing I find strange is an Italian with very limited knowledge managing our team, does that mean we can have one of the Germans as a team player. Surely a English Manager would be much better to represent England.
If anything goes wrong within your business we always look at the entrepreneur to put things right, this could include making some decisions that would make or break your business.
Fabio Capello is the Manager of the England squad and from what has been written in the papers and broadcasted on the TV:
Fabio never announced the team he would play until a few hours before the match.
This gives the players no chance to prepare themselves and get motivated in doing the best they can.
Fabio never changed the formation even though he was strongly advised to do so.
Something clearly went wrong in the first two matches, so it needed to be put right and it could have been if Fabio made a decision to change his belief and direction.
Team atmosphere and team work was apparently non existence.
Well it would be if Fabio would just scream at the players from his exclusive spot on the pitch.
Injured players brought in as substitutes and even a few entered the playing ground.
Correct me if I’m wrong but we’re in a huge tournament where fitness is of utmost importance, and it’s strongly advisable not invite players into this team unless they were more than capable in doing the job.
As said before, I’m not a football fan, and even I have managed to work out the above, perhaps this is why millions of fans are calling for the England boss to be sacked – I honestly don’t blame them.
Let me ask you a question – if this was your business, would you act in this way. I doubt it very much.
The point of this article is if something is not working, then look for a solution in changing in. If your belief and principles are the same as what Fabio Capello has demonstrated then your business will go the same way as the England team and ultimately fail.

Google buys Aardvark Website
Google Inc has bought Aardvark, a free question-and-answer Web service.
Aardvark co-founder Damon Horowitz confirmed the purchase Thursday. He would not disclose financial details.
Aardvark was formed in 2007 by Horowitz and three others, two of whom are former Google employees. It lets users ask questions online that are routed to friends and friends of friends. The goal is to get relevant answers on any topic as quickly as possible. Users can ask questions through Aardvark’s Web site, Twitter, over Google Chat or via e-mail. Aardvark had more than 90,000 users as of last October.
Buying Aardvark is the latest effort by Google to own more services, and capture more of people’s online time, rather than just linking to other sites.
The transaction returns Google to the question-and-answer field. In 2006, it abandoned Google Answers, a 4-year-old service through which users would pay anywhere from $2 to $200 to get answers to questions from hired researchers.

Yahoo in profit as sales fall
Internet giant Yahoo has posted a $153m (£95m) net profit in the fourth quarter of 2009, but has seen sales continue to fall.
The profit figure compares with a $303m loss in the same period in 2008, but revenue fell 4% to $1.7bn.
Yahoo struggled during the global downturn as advertisers trimmed their budgets. The firm cut more than 2,000 jobs to try to reduce costs.
Shares in Yahoo rose 1% in after-hours trading in New York to $16.17?.
“The fourth quarter marked a strong finish to 2009, which was a transformative year for Yahoo,” said chief executive Carol Bartz.
“Our business has positive momentum and we feel good as we head into 2010.”
For the whole of 2009, Yahoo made a £598m profit, up 43% on the previous year.

Rich equals Richer – Poor equals Poorer
The gap between rich and poor in the UK is wider now than 40 years ago, a government-commissioned report says.
“Deep-seated and systemic differences” remain between men and women and minority groups in pay and employment, the National Equality Panel found.
It said in areas such as neighbourhood renewal, taxes and education, policy action was needed to limit inequality.
The issues raised would need “sustained and focused action”, Equalities Minister Harriet Harman said.
“But for the sake of the right of every individual to reach their full potential, for the sake of a strong and meritocratic economy and to achieve a peaceful and cohesive society, that is the challenge that must be met,” she added.
Earning power
Apparent discrimination against people from ethnic minorities was revealed in the report, with those from nearly every minority group less likely to be in paid work than white British men and women.

Yahoo an target of Phishing
A new phishing attack attempts to steal Web hosting login credentials from Yahoo Inc. and other service providers.
Security researchers at Trusteer Inc. issued an advisory warning of the new phishing attack, which was detected last week. Customers who use content management systems run by Yahoo and other service providers are receiving phony emails that ask website owners to confirm their account information.
The phony emails ask for FTP account credentials and other sensitive data. Once the information is passed on to the cybercriminals, they use the stolen account data to set up fake website bank pages to steal funds.
Trusteer said in addition to FTP credentials, the email requests cPanel login information. CPanel is a popular content management system used to manage websites, including control FTP accounts. Once in control, the cybercriminals can upload content, including malicious code.
“Over the past few days, Trusteer’s security monitoring service has detected a phishing email campaign targeting owners of cPanel-based sites at various hosting providers,” the company said in its advisory.
Amit Klein CTO of Trusteer said cybercriminals have been using cPanel-based sites over the past several months to commit banking fraud. The cPanel and Yahoo hosted sites are smaller and get less traffic, but cybercriminals can control them for longer periods without being detected, Klein said.
“By stealing cPanel login credentials, criminals do not need to use hacking tools to upload content to a website, and therefore can avoid detection until after they have siphoned funds from consumer and business banking accounts,” Klein said in a statement.
It is unclear where the phishing emails originate. The Trusteer advisory says researchers traced them back to a domain in the U.K. with an IP address that resolves in the Philippines.
In September 2009 researchers discovered attackers targeting Yahoo using automated brute force password attacks. The attackers targeted the webmail accounts of Yahoo and other services by bypassing the traditional Web login interface using automated scripts that cycle through common passwords and possible user names. The Web Application Security Consortium Distributed Open Proxy Honeypot project, maintained by researchers at Breach Security Inc., has been monitoring the attacks over the last several months.

The Rich Jerk Review
So you’ve been on his website, read his amazing claims and now want an unbiased review of whether his ebook is worth taking the plunge on and buying or whether it is just another scam which are now so common on the internet. Well first things first, I bought this book at the beginning of 2006 and have been using its tips ever since, and have now decided to sit back and reflect on the rich jerk’s book and whether it was any good. He’s an asshole, no doubt, but if you look past the marketing gimmicks there is actually a lot of really good information packed into those pages. It is especially good for people that are not already making money online but also has some fresh tips for the more advanced affiliate marketer. PS if you are a beginner and have read reviews saying it is not for you this is no longer the case as it has had an update in March and is now got a whole section for brand new beginners.
This book is only small just 40 pages but for me this is an advantage as it is filled from start to finish with interesting tips and how to implement them it’s not padded out just so he can sell it for more.
So what does the book contain?
1. It has a section on creating an affiliate website that sells like crazy – this is personally my favourite part of the book as it is the bit that has made me the most money. I would never have known how to do this until read this book and it is a real money earner.
2. Unique Search Engine PPC Strategies – now I had never used this technique to make money before I had read this book but trust me if you take the rich jerk’s advice there is some serious money to be made from this.
3. Search Engine Optimisation Strategies – this section provides ways to promote your site and get it too the top of the search engine listings. Many of these tips I would not of thought of one my own. This section isn’t huge and is really more of a beginning to search engine optimisation but I have found the tips very effective.
4. Selling your own informational product – now I haven’t tried this myself but it seems like a very good idea so maybe this will be the something you can do better than I have so far. I would expect there would be a lot of money in it but i haven’t tried it so can’t be sure.
5. Buying Wholesale and selling on Ebay – Now many people make a living doing this so there is plenty of money to be made. There is some information about wholesalers and drop-shippers here, not loads but some quality contacts. He also covers a pretty large list of ways people get ripped off in this business, so if you’re considering getting into it this is a must read chapter for you.
There are other chapters but for me those are the ones you will be buying this ebook for. EDIT since the update there is now a chapter with supplemental information designed for beginners. This chapter contains information that people who have been around a while already will know but will be helpful for beginners; it covers the basic concepts of how various online money making programs work so now even you newbies can start making some cash from the internet.
So in conclusion -
In my honest opinion this is a great book and I do thoroughly suggest you to buy it. Its techniques work and are fairly straight foreword to follow. I have made money using the techniques he outlines so, therefore, I must give it two thumbs up. I hope you have as much success after reading his book as I have had.
